WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
An airbrush tan lasts 7 to 10 days gradually fading away during that time and with each exposure to water. You should book your appointment 1 to 2 days prior to your event or vacation when possible for best results.
How do I prepare for my tan?
Stop using any Retinol/ Acid products.
The stronger the Retinol product the earlier you should discontinue use.
Tanning should be your last beauty treatment you do. Waxing, mani/pedi, lashes and facials should be done at least one day or more prior to your tan.
EXFOLIATE whole body. This will rid the skin of dead skin cells enabling the tan to last longer and go on smoothly. The best thing to exfoliate with is an exfoliating glove.
NO SHOWERING IMMEDIATELY BEFORE YOUR APPT.
NO DOVE/ OLAY BODY WASH/ SOAP.
Please give yourself 6 hours or more. No oil based products 24 hrs before. These can affect the absorption of DHA resulting in streaking and minimal color.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Bring/ wear dark, LOOSE-fit clothing and flip flops to wear afterwards. Tight clothing can rub the tan completely off in most areas. Leave a towel in your car to sit on for leather or light colored upholstery during hot days.
WHAT DO I WEAR IF IT IS RAINING WHEN MY APPT IS?
Long sleeves or rain coat, pants, closed shoes, or an umbrella
disposable thongs, disposable caps, and makeup wipes. Women can go nude if you choose. Men must wear something to cover.
The solution does not stain sheets, and doesn't stain nails.
How do I keep my tan beautiful?
You will see color washing off the first time you shower. This is just the bronzer color that was applied. Avoid perspiring and be careful when washing hands and other activities as this may cause tan to streak BEFORE your first soap shower. Use a body wash (no Dove or Olay)
Moisturize daily with lotion. Hydrated skin makes your tan last longer and slows down the process of natural skin shedding cycle. It is best to use your hand instead of a washcloth/poof.
long hot showers
(no baths) dry out the skin and fade your tan faster. Lukewarm quick showers are best.
